We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Duty Bar Manager to join our team at The Bell at Frampton-on-Severn.
Full-Time | Thursday to Sunday Availability Required
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bar or hospitality experience who is looking to build a long-term career in the industry. Whether you’re already supervising shifts or are a confident bartender or Front of House team member ready for your first management role, we’ll provide the support, training and experience to help you develop.

Please note:
- Applicants must be available to work Thursday through Sunday, including evenings and weekends.
- Applicants must be 18 years or over due to bar duties.
- Due to our rural location, having your own transport is recommended.
As Duty Bar Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the pub.
- Leading shifts in the General Manager’s absence
- Ensuring smooth, efficient bar service.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervising, coaching and developing the Front of House and bar team.
- Cashing up and completing end-of-day procedures.
- Opening and locking up the premises when required.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and stock control.
- Ensuring licensing, health & safety and food hygiene standards are met.
- Supporting the wider team to ensure every guest has a fantastic experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude with the confidence to lead by example.
- Someone who enjoys developing others and working as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn, take on responsibility and grow into a management position.
