The Frocester is a traditional Coaching Inn situated in the small village of Frocester near Stonehouse in Gloucestershire . The hotel and restaurant are full of character and charm, with ten stunning guest bedrooms, log burning fires, a traditional drinking bar, beautiful restaurant and stunning enclosed courtyard. Our restaurant offers a menu full of freshly prepared dishes – all cooked by Head Chef Mark Sandell and hosted by his wife and General Manager Rachel.
You can find the Frocester just a 10 minute drive from Junction 13 of the M5 and 5 minutes from Stonehouse nestled under the Cotswold hills of Coaley Peak and Selsley Common.
The Bar at Frocester is a classic bar well-known for its friendly atmosphere and all around good times. The wood décor, alongside the wood burners and cosy seating offers a warm and welcoming ambiance to all guests.
We are a dog friendly bar and all well behaved dogs are welcome.

Our main hotel building offers Deluxe Suites, Deluxe Double Rooms and Standard Double Rooms.
The Deluxe rooms are our most luxurious rooms, both deluxe suites have large en-suite bathrooms with double sinks, large walk in showers and deep baths. Robes and slippers come as standard in the deluxe suites. Rooms 6, 7 & 10.
Our Deluxe Doubles are bigger than the standard double rooms and some of them have larger beds (up to 6ft 8″). Some of our deluxe doubles can also be converted two twin rooms if required. All have en-suite bathrooms with showers and one of them has a shower over a bath. Again they have the same luxurious feel with the same bed linen and toiletries to complete the well finished bathrooms. Rooms 5 & 8.
These rooms have tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided in the small fridge inside the wardrobe. Seating areas with a small table also feature on these rooms and they can be converted to twin beds if required. The largest suite boasts a 55inch wall mounted flat screen TV and a view of the courtyard. The suites are prefect for longer stays here you have time to appreciate the room and make the most of the extra space.
Our ground floor and courtyard rooms are our most recently renovated, all situated around our Courtyard these contemporary rooms offer a comfortable stay with flat screen televisions, wi-fi, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, walk-in showers and tea & coffee making facilities. Each room has a private seating area outside with a table and chairs.
Church view suite is a beautifully converted self-catering suite backing on to the courtyard of the Frocester George. This newly renovated property offers TV, WI-FI, air conditioning breakfast bar with seating. The cabin kitchen is fitted with a kettle, toaster and cooker with hob and fridge. The modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower, sink and low level toilet, with a comfortable king-size bed and arm chairs in the bedroom area. Outside is a small seating area with a table and chairs.
Magnolia Tree Cottage is a beautifully converted self-catering cottage backing on to the courtyard of the Frocester George. This newly renovated property is Dog friendly and offers a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, Smart TV, WI-FI and table and chairs. The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and cooker with hob, downstairs you will find a modern bathroom with large walk-in shower, sink and low level toilet. Upstairs can be accessed by a steep spiral staircase, which may not be suitable for infirm guests, into the attic bedroom, this is a beautiful light room with Velux windows, a king-size bed, clothes rail and drawers. All linen is provided along with housekeeping during long stays.
